Mountain Bike Tours in Madeira Island

The tour starts at the Portela Viewpoint and follows forest trails towards “Funduras”.

After a small break, we continue on dirt trails through the interior of the Laurisilva forest towards Fajã dos Rolos. During this ride we’ll see some species belonging to one of the Island’s indigenous forests.

The tour starts in Camacha near the Levada of Serra do Faial. From there we follow the levada on a pleasant ride through the green forest of the Island towards Santo da Serra. After a short stop, we descend to the Portela Viewpoint, where we are greeted by one of the most beautiful views of the Island’s northern coast.

From here we follow by trails and local roads until Santo da Serra, here we will take a short break to recover energies, then we continue through Levada da Serra, on a pleasant journey through the green of the forest and magnificent landscapes towards Funchal.
